Transformative education in breathwork training, somatics workshops, and trauma informed care.

At The Woven Path, we are dedicated to providing transformative experiential learning through our breathwork training and somatics workshops. Our mission is to empower individuals through retreats and workshops focused on somatics, breathwork, and trauma-informed care perspectives.
We work with practitioners of all kinds, including those in leadership and education settings, as well as individuals seeking mentorship and therapy. Our method encompasses the physical, energetic, and emotional bodies, along with neuro-diverse therapeutic strategies and trauma-informed practices.
We offer practical and integrative apprenticeship-style education that encompass breathwork training, somatics workshops, and trauma informed care within the fields of therapeutics, facilitation, and leadership.

Our foundational and advanced courses are designed to offer continuing education to those in leadership and management roles, practitioners in health and wellness fields, coaches, facilitators, and anyone looking to enhance their capacity in interpersonal contexts. This foundational 125-hour mentorship serves as the prerequisite for anyone interested in pursuing our Advanced Skill Courses, including breathwork training, Integrative Breathwork Facilitation, Intuitive Energetics, and more.
The training consists of group calls, individual sessions with instructors, opportunities to shadow advanced practitioners, and in-person group trainings. We cover our theory through a hybrid model that combines online learning with in-person immersions, self-study reading, writing assignments, case studies, and contemplative practices. Typically, the full 125-hour training takes approximately one year to complete. This program has received approval for credits from the Canadian Counsellors and Psychotherapists Association (CCPA), the Massage Therapists Association of Manitoba, the Canadian Registered Massage Therapists Association, and the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association.
At the core of all our offerings is an embodied understanding of the nervous system's relationship to ourselves, to others, and to our environments. This training lays the groundwork for our advanced trainings, making it suitable for anyone interested in understanding relationships from a neuro-informed perspective.
The first module will focus on foundational relational dynamics between self, client, and environment. We will build a baseline understanding of nervous system regulation, setting intentional space, relational awareness, and self-awareness, while beginning to practice our repertoire of embodied skills. This includes learning how to hold presence for our clients during their therapeutic process toward resiliency. We will introduce our “Somatic Inquiry” facilitation method, which progresses through the three levels of our somatics workshops.
In our second module, we will deepen our awareness of how we relate to others and how the reciprocity of the environment we create translates to that experience. We will focus on how trauma and other complexities, such as chronic pain and concussions, may influence the course of relationships, building upon our foundations of interpersonal awareness while enhancing our practical skillset within an embodied presence as facilitators, emphasizing trauma-informed care.
The Somatic Inquiry process introduced in Module 1 will evolve to include holistic facilitation methods rooted in observation, intuition, and motivational interviewing.
In the third module, we will concentrate on sustainable relationship practices, moving towards integration, resiliency, and growth using the assessment and focused awareness techniques developed in the first two modules. Our aim is to support a fluid evolution into your own integration of the work, tailored to your specific needs. Specifics will be curated for those accepted into the module upon completion of levels 1 and 2. The majority of this level will be dedicated to practical experience in a group format and will require in-person attendance over a four-day immersion.
