Join us for a transformative event where we will explore the concept of turning toward our pain as a way to find safety and healing within ourselves. This in-person event will take place at the St. Norbert Arts Centre on Sat Sept 28 from 2pm-5pm.
Through a series of experiences and discussions, we will delve into the power of acknowledging and embracing our pain, rather than avoiding or suppressing it. Learn techniques and strategies to cultivate a sense of safety and resilience within yourself, even in the face of difficult physical sensations and emotions.
Experiences will include:
utilizing body sensing and self-sensing methods to navigate the inner landscape safely
introductory understanding the neuroscience behind grounding practices, nervous system regulation and resiliency focused rehabilitation
working with the breath to support inner compassion, pain management and regulation
expressive therapies such as art and movement for working with sensation and challenging experiences
This event is perfect for anyone looking to deepen their self-awareness, knowledge of working with pain for self-guided relief and well-being. This is also an excellent opportunity for practitioners who work frequently with pain based cases to expand their toolkit. Don't miss this opportunity to connect with others on a similar journey and discover new ways to navigate life's challenges with courage and compassion.
